About the Role

The role of a fundraising professional involves identifying, cultivating, and stewarding relationships with high-value donors to mobilize substantial funding support.

  • Develop and execute a robust fundraising plan to secure large-ticket donations from HNIs, alumni, and philanthropists.
  • Create an extensive database of HNI/potential donors using wealth intelligence tools and personal network.
  • Create and track a target-based fundraising goal, and report the same through donor tracking, engagement, and donation metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Large-Scale Fundraising: Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure significant donations (₹20 lakhs to ₹1 crore+) from HNIs, alumni, and philanthropists.
  2. Donor Database Creation: Utilize wealth intelligence tools and personal network to create an extensive database of HNI/potential donors.
  3. Fundraising Goal Setting and Tracking: Create and track a target-based fundraising goal, and report progress through donor tracking, engagement, and donation metrics.
  4. Pitch Development and Closure: Create and communicate powerful pitches, proposals to the management/HNIs/CSR Heads, and drive successful closures.
  5. Collaboration and Representation: Work closely with the Communications team to create high-impact presentations, events, and experiences for prospects, and represent the organization at relevant networking events, donor meetings, and sector gatherings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, social sciences, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience working with HNIs/UHNI/CSR in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka.
  • Proven track record of securing high-value donations from HNI/UHNI/Foundations/Grants.
  • Exceptional networking, relationship-building, and persuasion skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, target, and outcome-based environment.
  • Good knowledge of current trends in CSR, philanthropy, and HNI donor behaviors.
