Job Title: Head of Fundraising and Partnerships
">About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced fundraiser to lead our efforts in securing financial support for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, building relationships with donors, and managing a team of fundraisers.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising Strategy Execution & Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives. Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, manage existing relationships, and build trust with key stakeholders.
- Partnership Development & Network Building: Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including foundations, corporations, and high net worth individuals. Identify new partnership opportunities and develop strategic plans to secure funding.
- Communications & Collateral Oversight: Oversee the development of compelling content, including pitch decks, proposals, reports, and campaigns, to effectively communicate our mission and impact to donors and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership & Systems Building: Lead a team of fundraisers, establish robust systems for donor CRM, grant compliance, reporting, proposal management, and audit preparedness, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely, tailored development of grant materials and donor communications.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Fundraising Expertise: Proven track record of success in fundraising, with at least 12-15 years of experience across fundraising, strategic partnerships, or business development within the nonprofit, CSR, or impact investing space.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and mentor a high-performing team and establish effective systems and processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clarity across proposals, pitches, and reports.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong grasp of India's social impact ecosystem and the ability to intuit what funders value, from grassroots innovation to scalable systems.
