Global Fundraising Director Role OverviewThe Global Fundraising Director will be responsible for implementing an action-oriented annual fundraising strategy to secure revenue for the organization's philanthropic efforts.This role requires a driven and empathetic leader who can work across boundaries, get things done, and establish personal credibility with stakeholders.
  • Create a clear roadmap and strategy for fundraising with short-, medium-, and long-term objectives based on a shared vision of desired outcomes.
  • Develop a national network of diverse supporters by strengthening existing relationships and adding new champions and donors.
  • Build a diverse portfolio approach to fundraising to ensure effort and target distribution across different kinds of sources.
Key qualifications include:
  • A Master's degree in business or Social Sciences with a minimum of 10 years of experience in direct fundraising and partnership roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record of building and augmenting a national network of diverse donor support for organizations.
  • Strong project management skills, interpersonal skills, executive presence, cultural awareness, adaptability, innovation, and keen eye for emergent trends and policy context.
