Government Sales Specialist for Fintech Partnerships

We at Pine Labs are seeking an accomplished sales professional to spearhead our Government Sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the government procurement process and be able to formulate strategic alliances with partners.

This role requires strong relationships building skills, particularly with senior-level decision-makers in the government sector. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with government accounts, including central and state ministries, defence, and other PSUs, as well as partners and consultants.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Key decision-maker identification through research and prospecting tools.
  • Analysing customer needs and mapping them to Pine Labs' solutions.
  • Accurate pipeline reporting and quarterly sales forecasts for the entire region.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as a high level of organisation and focus. Additionally, the ability to navigate C-level interactions and close discussions is crucial.

A track record of meeting and exceeding established goals in business and partner development is highly desirable. Previous experience in merchant acquiring spaces, either with payment aggregators, banks, or fintech companies, would be given preference. Moreover, the ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs is essential.
