Cloud Architect Opportunity

About the Role:

The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based systems and services that run on cloud platforms such as AWS EKS/Azure AKS/Google GKE/RedHat OpenShift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end container management solutions including cloud automation with AWS, Azure, and others.
  • Build and deploy Docker containers to break up monolithic applications into microservices improving developer workflow, increasing scalability, and optimizing speed.
  • Develop a library of deployable and documented cloud design patterns based on the company's product portfolio as a basis for deploying services to the cloud.
  • Ensure that applications are designed and optimized for cost effectiveness, elastic scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud-based services.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and apply this knowledge to improve the company's cloud infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
  • Expertise in setting up Kubernetes clusters and designing end-to-end container management solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, Azure services, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of core architectural concepts including distributed computing, scalability, availability, and performance.
  • Experience with key DevOps technologies including Docker, CloudFormation, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, and AWS CodeCommit CI/CD services.
  • Good understanding of networking, service discovery, deployments, scheduling, monitoring, and logging.
