Job Title - Head of Quality Assurance

The Position Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Head of Quality Assurance to oversee the entire quality assurance and control process at our manufacturing facility for Low Voltage electrical panels. This role ensures compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain a robust QMS ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 and other relevant standards for LV electrical panel manufacturing.
  2. Process Oversight: Continuously monitor and control quality processes across production stages from raw material inspection to final product testing.
  3. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians to achieve quality objectives.
  4. Compliance and Standards: Ensure strict adherence to industry standards and customer-specific requirements for LV electrical panels.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for process optimization, defect reduction, and quality improvement using tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
  6. Testing and Validation: Oversee testing procedures to ensure product reliability and safety.
  7. Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications and conduct supplier audits as needed.
  8. Customer Interface: Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer queries, complaints, and audits.
  9. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate quality records, prepare reports, and present quality performance metrics to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or certifications in Quality Management is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the LV electrical panel or similar electrical manufacturing industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of LV electrical panel design, manufacturing processes, and testing standards.
