Job Title: Plant Machinery Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Machinery Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing predictive/preventive/shutdown maintenance schedules for plant machinery to increase equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement plans and schedules for maintenance and operations with a focus on optimum utilization of manpower and materials.
  • Spare Parts Management: Draw up regular inventories of spare parts and ensure their availability in coordination with the stores department.
  • Equipment Calibration: Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of all equipment in the assigned section are carried out within set timelines.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify areas of obstruction/breakdowns and take proper steps to rectify equipment through application of troubleshooting techniques.
  • Disposal and Recycling: Take an active part in managing the process of disposal of obsolete machinery and equipment as per applicable environment, safety, and quality-related regulations.
  • Energy Efficiency: Maintain equipment at its maximum operating efficiency with safe operation and execute energy-saving, optimum energy consumption, and other cost-saving measures with suitable modification in process.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning and execution.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.
