Job Description:

Purpose of the Job

We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage our data center operations, ensuring reliability and efficiency. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day activities, manage critical situations, and achieve Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, with hands-on experience in data center infrastructure, electrical, and mechanical engineering. They will lead a shift team, ensure timely execution of planned and unplanned activities, and maintain effective communication.

  • Lead Shift Team: Ensure all planned and unplanned activities are executed within the given timeframe with good communication.
  • Track Complaints: Monitor and close all complaints within SLA deviation timelines.
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement recommendations on time with periodic reviews.
  • Asset Management: Oversee warranty, AMC, lifecycle, and capacity management for assets.
  • PPM Tracking: Track and complete 5 PPM tasks within TAT, collaborate with OEM, and ensure 100% equipment availability.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendors, track RAT and TAT on complaints, and ensure uptime of redundant equipment.
  • Stock Management: Maintain accurate records for all stocks as per BCP requirements.

Key Competencies:

  • Educational Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Professional Experience: At least 7+ years of progressive data center and/or critical facilities experience.
  • Tech Background: Solid understanding and hands-on experience in data center infrastructure, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
