Video Codecs Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Video Codecs Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and productizing various video codecs solutions on Qualcomm processors for mobile/IoT/Automotive projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of signal processing, video compression codecs, and experience in developing, porting, and optimizing video codecs such as H.264, HEVC, VP9, and MPEG.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Productize Video Codecs Solutions: Design, implement, and debug video codecs solutions for mobile/IoT/Automotive projects on Qualcomm processors.
- Enhance Video Firmware Solutions: Enhance video firmware solutions and hardware subsystem enhancements in future Qualcomm Mobile Processors.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and debug videomultimedia features for mobiles.
- Experience in Video Codecs: At least one year of experience in video codecs development, porting, and optimization.
- Signal Processing Skills: Strong understanding of signal processing, video compression codecs, and hands-on knowledge of H.264, HEVC, VP9, and MPEG family video codecs.
- Programming Skills: Solid C programming skills, multi-threading, and OS concepts fundamentals.
- Exposure to Automotive Domain: Experience in the automotive domain is a plus.
- Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and debug videomultimedia features for mobiles.
