Lead Video Codec Architect

We are seeking an accomplished Sr. Staff Video Codec Systems Engineer to spearhead the design and optimization of high-performance video codec algorithms, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay abreast of the latest advancements in video processing technologies.
This role involves:
- Designing and developing video codec algorithms for real-time applications.
- Optimizing video processing for performance and quality.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate codecs into various platforms.
- Conducting performance analysis and benchmarking of video codecs.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to video encoding and decoding.
- Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in video processing and compression.
- 5-10 years of experience in video codec development and optimization.
- A strong understanding of video compression standards (H.264, H.265, AV1, etc.).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with software development tools and version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with hardware acceleration for video processing (e.g., GPUs, DSPs).
- Knowledge of video streaming protocols and multimedia frameworks (FFmpeg, GStreamer).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
