Job Description:

Implement and optimize video compression algorithms to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Develop innovative solutions for efficient video delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to benchmark codec performance across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement and optimize video compression algorithms to enhance customer satisfaction.
  2. Develop effective video delivery solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to benchmark codec performance across various platforms.
  4. Design and implement reliable and scalable video delivery systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Solid understanding of video coding standards (H.264, HEVC, AV1).
  • Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Video Delivery Expertise:

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in video compression, with expertise in codecs, streaming protocols, and video encoding/decoding techniques.

They should be well-versed in industry-standard tools and technologies, with a passion for innovation and experimentation.
