Loan Management Executive Position

Job Description:

  • Direct day-to-day leadership, supervision, training, hiring, recruiting, and performance evaluations for all Junior Loan Officers (JLOs)
  • Possess a thorough understanding of RESPA/TRID review and other federal, state, and industry compliance requirements
  • Interface professionally with title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and lenders to ensure successful closings
  • Elevate customer satisfaction by assisting in the loan application process, overseeing all mortgage loan closings, and completing post-closing requirements efficiently
  • Ensure future salability and quality control of residential mortgage loans and refinances by adhering to lender underwriting guidelines and federal regulations
  • Develop ongoing coaching and training programs for new and existing staff
  • Utilize quality assurance data to drive improvement in lender decision making
  • Identify areas for improvement and document processes and procedures
  • Establish a reporting system for clear communication of performance to team members, peers, management, and executive leadership
  • Monitor and oversee the loan production pipeline
  • Meet departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Prepare action plans or corrective actions when individual metrics are not met
  • Communicate key initiatives, deliverables, and expectations across team members, peers, managers, and executive leadership
  • Manage administrative tasks of the department (timecards, schedules, vacations, performance reviews)
  • Continuously review processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Identify strategic and technological improvements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of Mortgage Origination experience and Correspondent experience in US Home Loan products
  • Working knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and TRID guidelines
  • Leadership experience in human resources or operations is required
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good supervisory, organizational, and mathematical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment skills to make quick decisions within written policy and standard operating procedures
