Job Opportunity

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed designs, technical documentation, and coordinating with clients and consultants to ensure successful project execution. This role involves leading the design process from initial concept through final delivery.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Have at least 5-8 years of experience in MEP & HVAC design engineering.
  • Prior exposure to commercial, industrial, healthcare, and large infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
  • Membership/certification from ASHRAE / ISHRAE is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

AHVAC Design Engineer responsibilities include:

  • Preparing heat load calculations and cooling load estimations as per ASHRAE/ISHRAE standards.
  • Designing and selecting chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, and other HVAC equipment.
  • Creating detailed HVAC system layouts (ducting, piping, controls) using AutoCAD/Revit.
  • Developing BOQs, technical specifications, design reports, tender documents, and equipment data sheets.
  • Managing documentation, submittals, and approvals with clients and consultants.
  • Coordinating with MEP teams (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), architects, and contractors for project integration.
  • Reviewing vendor proposals and conducting technical evaluations.
  • Providing support in value engineering, energy efficiency improvements, and system optimization during installation, testing & commissioning stages.
