Business Financial Planning Role

  • Drive business growth by overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual results, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and optimization of performance.
  2. Collaborate with the executive team and department heads to align operational priorities with company mission, vision, and direction.
  3. Provide data-driven support to business partners and foster strong relationships across the organization, including Finance Functions and other Finance teams.
  4. Analyze actuals against budget/forecast to inform business decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Deliver timely, detailed, and meaningful insights on business performance to stakeholders, using analytics and commercial acumen.
  6. Offer insights and analysis of results, highlighting underlying trends and challenging the business on performance.
  7. Prepare weekly and monthly management information system (MIS) reports with variance analysis and recommendations.
  8. Manage working capital and cash flow for the Group.
  9. Identify and address business challenges, proposing innovative solutions to drive improvement and growth.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in business administration or finance from a reputable institution or Chartered Accountant certification.
  • At least 10 years of experience managing a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of sales and revenue drivers, with ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills, with ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and team management abilities, with ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
