Hotel Manager – Corporate Office

Our client is a well-established joint venture between a leading hospitality group and a global private equity firm with significant presence in India. This collaboration aims to redefine the company's presence in the hospitality business in the region, leveraging world-class management practices and innovative strategies.

The hotel manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the company, ensuring the highest standards of excellence and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
  • Operational Management: Assist the CEO in overseeing the management of multiple hospitality assets through business partners, ensuring they meet international luxury standards and deliver desired levels of profitability.
  • Service Quality Enhancement: Collaborate with international luxury hotel brands to maintain and enhance service quality and profitability.
  • Operational Efficiency: Drive operational efficiencies and improvements across all assets.
  • Culture Development: Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgets, financial performance, and profitability of the assets.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including hotel brand partners and senior leadership within the joint venture.
  • Growth Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the hospitality sector.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role as general manager/unit head of a hotel with a leading international hospitality brand in India.
  • Skills: Proven experience in managing hospitality operations, strong financial acumen, and experience with budgetary management.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Brand Standards: Familiarity with international luxury hotel brand standards and operations.
  • Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and achieve business goals.
