Procurement Excellence Trainer

As a seasoned procurement professional, you will design, develop, and deliver training programs to equip procurement teams with the skills and knowledge required to drive business growth and excellence.

Job Summary:

  • Develop and deliver impactful training sessions on procurement processes, strategic sourcing, vendor management, and ERP systems that meet the evolving needs of the organization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align training objectives with organizational goals and ensure seamless integration with existing processes.

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify gaps in procurement capabilities and develop targeted training programs to address these areas.

  • Design and deliver e-learning modules, case studies, and practical simulations tailored to specific industries and job functions.

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to trainees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strategic Sourcing - ability to identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers that meet business needs.

  • Vendor Management - expertise in supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and development programs.

  • Contract Negotiation - strong knowledge of commercial terms, SLAs, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Cost Reduction - proven track record in cost-saving initiatives and process optimization.

  • Supply Planning - ability to integrate procurement planning with production demand.

  • ERP Systems - proficiency in SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar procurement modules.

  • Cross-Industry Knowledge - exposure to procurement processes in various manufacturing sectors.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to design and deliver practical, industry-specific training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or Business Administration with 10+ years of experience.

  • Certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, and CIPS are preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager/Lead prior to becoming a trainer.
