Project Director Role

  • Oversee IT projects from start to finish, ensuring accurate project plans and estimates, effective scoping and requirements gathering, proper resource allocation, successful project initiation and execution.
  • Effectively communicate with senior client stakeholders in Scrum calls on project priorities, progress, and risks.
  • Apply change, risk, and resource management principles daily.
  • Resolve higher-scope project issues.
  • Build strong partnerships with client stakeholders and project teams.
  • Coordinate and monitor the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of projects across the organization.
  • Aid in contract negotiation and changes.
  • Collaborate with Sales Teams to respond to RFPs.

Requirements and Qualifications

">
  • 10-14 years of overall IT experience, with at least 6 years in Project/Program Management.
  • Proven experience managing software development life cycle projects and handling multiple technologies.
  • Mandatory experience managing projects in the eCommerce domain (e.g., B2C/B2B platforms, online retail systems, commerce engines).
  • Thorough understanding of Agile principles for IT project/program management. Experience with Test-Driven Development is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of change management principles.
  • Ability to understand and articulate business and technology requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and client environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of project management tools (Basecamp, MS Project, JIRA, etc.) is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working in iterative and multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
