Cloud Security Specialist Position

Our organization is looking for a skilled Cloud Security Specialist to play a key role in the security of our cloud platforms.

This entry-level position involves working closely with various teams, including DevOps and Infrastructure, to integrate security best practices into our CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), knowledge of networking, firewalls, and basic security concepts, as well as familiarity with security tools like SIEM, vulnerability scanners, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing security events across cloud platforms.
  • Support in implementing cloud security best practices and policies.
  • Help with identifying and mitigating potential cloud security vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for cloud-related issues.
  • Assist in compliance audits and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security into all aspects of cloud operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud security standards and regulations.
