This role involves teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of Operations Management. Key responsibilities include designing and delivering dynamic lectures, tutorials, case studies, simulations, and projects.

  • Teach courses in Production planning, control, and scheduling, Quality management, Operations strategy & process optimization, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration.
  • Develop course materials including syllabus, assignments, assessments, and self-learning modules.
  • Mentor students advising them on coursework, career goals, and capstone or research projects.
  • Engage in curriculum development updating content to reflect emerging technologies and methodologies.
  • Participate in academic administration including program assessment, accreditation efforts, committee work, student counseling, and admissions.

Research Opportunities

Contribute to research by publishing in peer-reviewed journals, presenting at conferences, and engaging with industry partners on applied research.

Qualifications and Experience

">

Applicants should have a Master's degree in Operations Management, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A PhD from a research-led institution is preferred. Minimum 5 years combined teaching and/or industry experience in operations, production, quality control, or manufacturing systems is required. Hands-on knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, or ERP implementation is essential.
