Operations Management Professorship Opportunity

The institution is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Professor of Operations Management to join our faculty.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Operations Management and Production. Key responsibilities include:

  • Production planning, control, and scheduling
  • Quality management (Six Sigma, TQM, Lean)
  • Operations strategy & process optimization
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration
  • Design and deliver dynamic lectures, tutorials, case studies, simulations, and projects.
  • Develop course materials: syllabus, assignments, assessments, and self-learning modules—especially for hybrid or online programs.
  • Mentor students, advising them on coursework, career goals, and capstone or research projects.
  • Engage in curriculum development in coordination with the department—updating content to reflect emerging technologies and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background:
  • A Master's degree (MBA) in Operations Management, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • A PhD from a research-led institution is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years combined teaching experience in business schools or universities and/or industry experience in operations, production, quality control, or manufacturing systems.
