Job Summary:

The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functioning of retail stores, ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and an excellent customer experience. This role involves supervising store teams, implementing company policies, monitoring performance, driving sales, and ensuring compliance with operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of multiple retail stores to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Drive sales growth, customer satisfaction, and overall store profitability.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all stores.
  • Plan and execute strategies for inventory management, stock replenishment, and loss prevention.
  • Monitor store performance against KPIs and take corrective actions where required.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate store managers and their teams to achieve business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.
  • Analyze sales trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing, HR, supply chain, and other departments for seamless operations.
  • Prepare reports on operational performance, sales analysis, and budgeting.
  • Manage manpower planning, recruitment, training, and performance appraisals for store staff.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure quick resolution.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 4–6 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
