Estimated Salary Range: ₹12,00,000 - ₹20,00,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Delivery: Lead the design and delivery of genset products from KVA to KVA, ensuring high-quality products that meet customer requirements.
  • Product Upgradation: Develop strategies for upgrading current genset products to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Engine Application Systems: Design and develop engine application systems, such as cool packs and exhaust systems, to enhance product capabilities.
  • Benchmarking and Target Setting: Conduct benchmarking studies to set targets for product improvement and update management on changes.
  • Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost reduction through design improvements and implement measures to achieve business targets.
  • Team Management: Foster an innovative culture within the team and ensure adherence to new product development processes.
  • Vendor and GOEM Interaction: Collaborate with vendors and government organizations (GOEMs) to resolve issues and improve product quality.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their requirements and translate them into engineering parameters.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in the genset industry or a related field.
  • Qualifications: BE in Mechanical, Production, or Automobile Engineering.
