About the Role

As a key member of our IP team, we are seeking an experienced Patent Specialist to lead high-impact research projects and manage a team of patent professionals. The role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, client-facing skills, and people management to deliver strategic patent insights and support decision-making for global clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex patent projects, including invalidation, freedom-to-operate, and patentability searches.
  • Conduct technology landscapes, white space analysis, and competitor monitoring.
  • Deliver insight-driven patent reports that support strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with global clients to define project scope and objectives.
  • Evaluate patent portfolios for legal, technical, and commercial insights.
  • Manage and mentor a team of 8–10 IP professionals for quality and productivity.
  • Drive client engagement and support business development opportunities.
  • Promote best practices, process improvements, and knowledge-sharing.

Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of experience in patent research and analytics.
  • Prior experience managing a team of 3–5+ members.
