Job Title: Absence Management Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Absence Management Specialist to join our team. As an absence management specialist, you will play a key role in the implementation, configuration, and support of Workday Absence Management solutions for our partners.

  • You will collaborate with project stakeholders to plan, organize, and govern absence management projects.
  • Conduct workshops to identify, analyze, and specify absence management requirements, ensuring seamless integration with HR processes and leave policies.
  • Draft detailed functional specifications and configure the Workday Absence Management module to meet business needs.
  • Monitor and follow up on the progress of configurations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Define and execute testing scenarios to validate absence management solutions, guaranteeing high-quality deliverables.
  • Support deployment and provide user assistance during the transition to Workday Absence, fostering a smooth adoption process.
  • Deliver training sessions to users, contributing to change management initiatives and promoting effective use of absence management solutions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations and processes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Work closely with HR, payroll, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of absence management processes, maintaining strong relationships and trust.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of HR processes, particularly in absence management, leave policies, and compliance. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in configuring and supporting the Workday Absence module and 3-5 years of experience in Workday Absence Management projects, including implementation, support, or migration.
