Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base in India.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales plans, including marketing and product development.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to ensure BDP International remains competitive and innovative.
- 15+ years of experience in sales and business development, with a strong track record of success in the logistics industry.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in recruiting, training, and managing a team of sales professionals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex sales strategies and plans to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business conditions.
- Post-graduate degree in sales and marketing or a related field.
- Experience in sales and business development in the logistics industry, with a strong understanding of the market and its trends.
- Knowledge of MS Office and other sales and marketing tools.
- Six sigma certification in Green or Black Belt.
