Equity Derivatives Quant Development Role

This role involves collaborating with model quants and quant developers in the Equity Derivatives team to develop, maintain and support pricing and analytic libraries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with model quants and other quant developers to develop and maintain C++ and Python libraries and infrastructure
  • Partner with equity derivatives front office, structuring and IT teams to migrate existing and develop new pricing tools for strategic python library
  • Support software development life cycle automation and self-service tooling to enable application owners to onboard and release applications with minimal overheads
  • Develop and maintain Jupyter notebook services for a controlled environment
  • Pack re-usable Equities Python libraries as components for consumption across multiple applications
  • Ensure compliance with internal control standards and address issues raised by external regulators

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably with exposure to Equity derivative products
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a numerate discipline such as computer science, mathematics or engineering
  • Proficient in C++ and Python on Linux and Windows with hands-on experience in a large rapidly changing codebase
  • Solid experience of development in Python, including exposure to frameworks like Dash, Flask, FastAPI
  • Excellent communication skills in English and a disciplined approach to software development
  • Ability to work effectively in a global team and contribute as a strong team player
  • Capability to work independently and take initiative on projects from inception to delivery
