Department: Revenue Management / Sales Operations.Role Summary:We are looking for an experienced Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) expert to join our team in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector.This senior role is critical in shaping and executing pricing and promotional strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to convert strategic objectives into operational excellence, offering data-driven insights to enhance commercial performance.Key Responsibilities:Develop Revenue Strategies:- Lead the formulation and implementation of pricing, promotion, and assortment strategies to boost revenue and profitability across different channels and customer segments.Pricing Optimization:- Build and manage dynamic pricing models based on market trends, competitor actions, and customer behavior.- Ensure pricing effectiveness across all product lines and geographies.Trade Promotion Effectiveness:- Design, evaluate, and optimize trade promotions to improve ROI.- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to align promotional efforts with business goals.Analytics & Insights:- Utilize analytics and BI tools to generate actionable insights.- Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous performance improvement.Cross-functional Alignment:- Partner with sales, marketing, finance, product development, and supply chain teams to drive unified revenue management initiatives.- Share knowledge and train stakeholders on SRM practices.Market Intelligence:- Conduct regular market and competitive analysis to inform strategy.- Leverage insights to shape pricing and promotional tactics for competitive advantage.Revenue Forecasting:- Lead revenue and margin forecasting efforts.- Adapt strategies in response to changing market dynamics or internal business performance.Technology & Tools:- Stay abreast of new technologies in revenue management.- Support the implementation and optimization of advanced analytics platforms.Leadership & Mentoring:- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.- Build a high-performing team with a strong foundation in SRM best Masters degree in Business, Finance, or a related field from a Tier-1 8- 10 years in revenue management, pricing, or strategic sales roles within the CPG industry.- Experience in large CPG firms or analytics consulting firms is an advantage.Core Competencies:- Deep knowledge of revenue growth management, pricing strategies, trade promotion, and trade architecture.- Proven experience deploying AI/ML-based enterprise analytics solutions for revenue optimization.- Advanced skills in analytics and BI tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SAP, etc.)- Familiarity with syndicated data sources (e.g, Nielsen, Kantar, IRI).- Strategic thinking with a track record of delivering measurable improvements.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort handling large data sets.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the leadership level (ref:iimjobs.com)
