Procurement Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to oversee supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement in our procurement, inventory control, and manufacturing strategies.

  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and drive cost savings.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to optimize product design and manufacturability.
  • Establish goals with suppliers to meet forecasted demand and resolve material shortages.
  • Represent the procurement team on cross-functional commodity teams.
  • Work with engineering and suppliers to resolve complex problems and ensure on-time delivery of critical materials.
Requirements:
  • Prefer a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, managing global suppliers.
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing agreements and contracting.
  • Experience in developing and improving supplier performance metrics.
  • Creative problem-solving capabilities and solid analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and ERP systems, preferably SAP.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a keen understanding of materials and manufacturing processes. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:

  1. Building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers.
  2. Driving continuous improvement in procurement processes.
  3. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Providing timely and accurate reporting to management.
