Role Description

As a Process Improvement Specialist your role will be pivotal in fostering a collaborative and efficient environment for the team.

You will be responsible for facilitating process improvements removing impediments that may hinder the team's progress and ensuring adherence to process principles and values.

Your role will also involve promoting continuous improvement and helping the team maintain a high level of performance.

You will act as a servant-leader fostering an environment where team members feel empowered and supported in their roles.

YOUR goal will be to ensure that the team delivers high-quality best-in-class solutions in alignment with our mission and customer expectations.

Your expertise in process improvement methodologies will be instrumental in driving our team towards achieving its goals and objectives.

You will work closely with all team members to maintain a healthy prioritized product backlog and ensure that Tribe and Squad goals are understood by everyone in the Squad.

You will continuously help the Squad to enhance their incremental delivery of value to clients and stakeholders.

You will identify inefficiencies in the Squad operation and proactively remove impediments to the Squad's progress.

You will live and promote an agile mindset and culture within the Tribe.

You will act as a coach and facilitator within the team for self-organisation and cross-functionality.

You will deliver trainings within your Squads on demand.

You will create psychologically safe environments for teams enabling them to own their outcomes surface dependencies & risks and escalate in a timely manner.

You will act as the Process Improvement Specialist for multiple of our AI Squads both being cross-functional agile teams working on implementing AI.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban with practical experience in a Spotify agile environment.
  • Proven experience as a Process Improvement Specialist for one or more teams.
  • Ability to structure and manage workload effectively with strong communication and conflict management skills.
  • Experience in coaching team members for continuous improvement with strong motivational skills.
  • Exceptional team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders of diverse backgrounds and seniority levels.
  • Fluency in English is required proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Agile certification is desired.
