Product Merchandising Specialist – Jewelry Industry Overview

We are seeking a skilled Product Merchandising Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our product development process, you will be responsible for developing and executing product merchandising strategies that drive sales and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product assortment strategies to meet customer needs and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to create new and innovative products that cater to changing market trends.
  • Conduct thorough market research to track customer preferences, competitor activity, and industry trends.
  • Curate seasonal collections that balance classic and modern styles to appeal to a wide range of customers.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure timely deliveries and minimal stock issues.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts by providing expert product knowledge and merchandising tools.
  • Define pricing and positioning strategies based on cost analysis and market conditions.
  • Oversee quality control and adherence to production timelines to ensure high-quality products.
  • Lead product launches from concept to rollout, ensuring seamless execution and successful results.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product flow and efficient operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years' experience in product merchandising, preferably in the jewelry industry.
  • Strong knowledge of jewelry trends, market dynamics, and customer preferences.
  • Skilled in product lifecycle management, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, Jewelry Design, or related field.
