Job Title: Product Merchandiser

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Product Merchandiser to join our team. As a key member of our merchandising department, you will be responsible for managing bags and accessories across stores.

The ideal candidate will have experience in assortment planning, inventory management, sales analysis, and vendor coordination. You will work closely with our vendors to negotiate prices and ensure timely deliveries, while also analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assortment Planning: Develop and implement effective assortment plans to drive sales growth, taking into account customer preferences, market trends, and product demand.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure efficient stockroom operations, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, using insights to inform future purchasing decisions.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors to negotiate prices and ensure timely deliveries, building strong relationships to drive business success.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in retail merchandising or a related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors, colleagues, and customers.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
