We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee end-to-end operations in Apparel Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess strategic leadership skills, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with international quality and ethical standards.

This role requires continuous improvement to achieve business growth and customer satisfaction through operational leadership, production management, planning & coordination, quality & compliance, and cost & efficiency control.

The General Manager – Operations will drive key responsibilities including:

  • Leading day-to-day operations across production, planning, sourcing, warehousing, and distribution functions.
  • Ensuring production targets are met with optimal resource utilization and minimum wastage.
  • Developing and implementing operational strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Overseeing daily factory operations including production, planning, finishing, and dispatch.
  • Monitoring production lines to ensure delivery targets, efficiency, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Driving lean manufacturing, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to for all machinery and equipment.
  • Coordinating closely with merchandising, sourcing, and logistics teams for smooth execution.
  • Monitoring capacity planning and allocating resources to maximize efficiency.
  • Implementing and monitoring strict quality control measures across all production stages.
  • Investigating and resolving quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Driving cost reduction through waste minimization, process optimization, and improved productivity.
  • Preparing and managing operational budgets for the manufacturing function.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in operational leadership, preferably in apparel manufacturing.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
