Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to manage daily operations and work on end-to-end process improvement.

This role involves performing transactional activities of Operational Procurement, including spot buying, PR to PO conversion, vendor master data management, and helpdesk services.

The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day procurement operations within the Global Business Services (GBS) function, ensuring efficient handling of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily operations and process improvement initiatives.
  • Performing transactional activities of Operational Procurement.
  • Overseeing day-to-day procurement operations within the GBS function.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of procurement requests.
  • Reporting expertise to extract reports from SAP as per requirements from Business.
  • Coodinating with vendors for deliveries and queries related to POs created.
  • Coodinating with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs.
  • Conducting timely communication upon inquiries from internal/external groups.
  • Following up-to-date operational procedures and adhering to standardized processes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • 3+ years of indirect spend procurement experience, with strong negotiation skills.
  • SAP module knowledge and experience.
  • Desirable working experience in a Shared Services Center procurement procedures.
