At myGwork, an inclusive employer and a member of the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community, we are looking for a skilled Senior Payments Business Analyst to join our team.

This role is part of Amazon's ambitious vision to be the earth's most customer-centric company. We aim to transform payments in India, and this position plays a crucial part in that journey.

You will work closely with Category, Data, and Ops teams, as well as across business lines, interacting extensively with members within these teams. This role requires 1-3 years of previous work experience in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, and Tableau) and account managing small/medium-size brands/sellers.

A typical day in this role involves deep-diving into business problems using SQL, working on monthly offers planning through data-deep dives, and collaborating with external brands like telcos, DTH, or subscription providers to execute growth partnership ideas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing data using SQL, Excel, QuickSight, and providing actionable insights.
  • Performing exploratory analysis: Fetching data from systems, analysing trends, writing medium to complex SQL queries.
  • Working closely with Business operations, Category, Customer Service, Tech, and Marketing teams.
  • Owning and improving core processes, which involves working with multiple stakeholders across business and functions.

Basic qualifications include:

  • 1+ years of data analytics or automation experience.
  • 1+ years of capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis, or similar experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level.
  • Experience with data mining tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similar.

The estimated salary for this role is around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
