We are seeking exceptional talent to join our investment team as embedded members, gaining front-row access to deal flow from promising startups in emerging markets.

About the Role:

This is an opportunity to conduct market analysis, primary and secondary research on various domains within the web3 ecosystem, authoring in-depth thematic reports. You will identify tomorrow's web3 unicorns by researching and building theses on emerging web3 trends, track adoption of blockchain across non-crypto industries, and highlight high-impact crossover opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis and primary research on various web3 domains, authoring in-depth reports.
  • Research and build theses on emerging web3 trends, identifying potential unicorns.
  • Track adoption of blockchain across non-crypto industries, highlighting crossover opportunities.
  • SOURCE, QUALIFY AND EVALUATE STARTUPS USING TOP-DOWN AND BOTTOM-UP APPROACHES.
  • Lead deep-dive diligence on product, technology, market, and founding teams.
  • Craft compelling investment memos and present directly to the Investment Committee.
  • SUPPORT NEGOTIATIONS AND DEAL EXECUTION WITH FOUNDERS, INVESTORS, AND ECOSYSTEM PARTNERS.
  • Work closely with portfolio companies to help them integrate web3 capabilities and scale faster.
  • Publish articles on emerging web3 themes to position yourself and Hashed Emergent as authorities in the space.

Requirements:

  • High-caliber talent with 1+ year experience in venture capital, investment firms, top-tier consulting, or a high-impact role in a crypto-native startup or fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds and entrepreneurial experience.
  • Deep understanding of crypto ecosystems, particularly developer growth, community, and protocol positioning.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, juggle multiple stakeholders, and deliver on tight timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of ownership, attention to detail, and operational discipline.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-transparency, and high-trust environment.
