Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct immersive field studies with utilities and stakeholders at various levels to identify real-world pain points such as installation time, tool requirements, operational challenges, and user experience.
  • Translate these insights into comprehensive Design Requirements Documents that serve as blueprints for product development.
  • Lead the industrial design of cutting-edge 1P & 3P LT/HT meters and rack-mounted devices, ensuring they meet functionality, aesthetics, cost, and reliability standards.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
  • 10–15 years of experience in industrial design, preferably with high-volume electronic or hardware products.
  • Proven track record of translating customer and market insights into successful, user-centric product designs.
  • Strong expertise in field research, usability studies, requirement gathering, and manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead small, high-performing design teams.
