Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Finance Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage accounts receivables and payables, vendor payments, and reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial records.
- Oversee day-to-day book-keeping and accounting entries, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Monitor cash flows and working capital requirements to identify areas for improvement and cost optimization.
- Handle GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliances on a timely basis, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and coordinate with auditors to maintain a clean financial record.
- Maintain proper documentation for tax and legal audits, providing transparent and accurate information.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial dashboards for management review, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in preparing P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform business decisions.
- Implement and strengthen financial controls and accounting systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify areas for efficiency improvement and cost optimization, implementing changes to improve financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy in operations, promoting transparency and accountability.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or CA/Inter CA/MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.
- 4–5 years of finance experience in a similar role, preferably with startups, FMCG, or D2C brands.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
- Proficiency in Excel, Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks, or other accounting software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail, able to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
