Site Reliability Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, manage and monitor large-scale cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud scalability, performance optimization and automation.

The selected individual will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security and reliability of our SaaS platforms. Key responsibilities include developing and executing UI automation using Cypress with TypeScript, conducting performance testing using K6, and managing and optimizing AWS infrastructure at scale (EC2, S3, ELB, Lambda, Route 53, ECS, SQS, CloudWatch).

In addition, the successful candidate will package, deploy and manage containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes), automate workflows using Terraform, CDK, Chef, and implement CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, GitHub, Jenkins, Codefresh). Strong monitoring and troubleshooting skills using ELK stack, Dynatrace, New Relic, Nagios are also essential.

An added responsibility includes managing and optimizing IIS and web farms in high-traffic SaaS environments.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience with IaaC & DSC tools (Terraform, CDK, Chef) and PaaS (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Ruby, Go, Python, Bash)
  • Large-scale monitoring & reporting experience
  • Solid understanding of .NET application architecture
  • Proven problem-solving & troubleshooting skills in DevOps/SRE environments
