Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

This is a key role in shaping the overall architecture of cloud solutions, ensuring they align with business goals, scalability requirements, and industry best practices.

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer II to assist with the design and implementation of our cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong experience implementing access control using IAM, experience with repository management (Git), and knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

  • Design and Development: Assist in the design and development of scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust AWS solutions.
  • Implementation: Assist in the implementation of AWS monitoring systems and security measures to safeguard AWS environments.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
  • Optimization: Develop strategies for optimizing AWS costs without compromising performance or security.
  • Support: Responds to systems alerts, investigates and resolves related system failures, and recovers/restores failed systems and applications.
  • Mentorship: Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs for team members.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 7-9 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner preferred.
  • Skills: Strong experience implementing access control using IAM, experience with repository management (Git), and knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
