Cloud Engineering Leader

This role is focused on leading the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure across various environments, with a strong emphasis on Azure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Develop and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions using modern DevOps practices.
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives with an emphasis on Azure technologies.
  • Maintain and improve existing cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Implement and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Establish and enforce cloud security standards and best practices across environments.
  • Build and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes through effective cloud strategy and execution.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering/architecture roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure, plus working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration, particularly AKS, with knowledge of EKS.
  • Experience with container environments, including Karpenter, ArgoCD, and Istio.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud security principles and implementations.
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud networking concepts and solutions.
  • Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools, particularly Terraform, Azure ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Security Engineer).
  • Experience with Azure governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Background in supporting enterprise-scale applications.
  • Experience with Azure monitoring and observability tools (such as DataDog).
