Job Title: Lead DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled DevOps Leader to oversee the development and implementation of our cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-based technologies, including AWS, and be able to manage and maintain high-traffic applications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and manage cloud infrastructure for enterprise-scale workloads
  • Drive automation of tasks and implement infrastructure services
  • Identify and rectify potential risks within the infrastructure, network, or security
  • Research, set up, test, and implement technologies to improve infrastructure performance, reliability, availability, security, and efficiency on AWS
  • Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with developers to implement corrective/preventive actions during and after an incident
  • Document and audit DevOps practices
  • Provide leadership and direction to DevOps engineers

Skill Sets:

  • Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and related cluster components such as logging, metrics, security, RBAC, autoscaling etc.
  • 7 years of experience in AWS, including minimum 1+ years in a Lead DevOps role, with expertise in a broad range of AWS technologies
  • Expertise in DevOps technologies like Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Bash Scripting, CI/CD, etc.
  • Good programming experience with at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, or Go.
  • Expertise in automating, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experienced in a 24x7x365 uptime Amazon AWS environment leveraging git repositories and CI/CD tools like TeamCity
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues
  • Experience working with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus preferred)
  • Knowledge of best practices and cloud security (AWS Well-Architected Framework)
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment with a globally-distributed team
  • Good to have knowledge of logging and tracking issues in JIRA
