Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.

• Infrastructure Design: The successful applicant will have experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using various AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Redshift, ECS, Route 53, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, Cost Explorer, and others.
• Containerization: Proficiency in setting up ECS/EKS clusters, configuring deployments, and implementing performance-based scaling is required. Familiarity with Docker images, Docker Hub, AMIs, etc., is a plus.
• Infrastructure Automation: Experience in automating infrastructure setup using Terraform and CloudFormation is essential.
• Environment Setup: The selected candidate will have experience in setting up new environments based on specific landing page requirements and industry best practices.
• AWS IAM: Hands-on experience with AWS IAM, including configuring roles, policies, and user groups, is required.
• Database Management: Experience in setting up RDS databases (MySQL, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MariaDB) and managing intranet user access is necessary. Skilled in troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Network Configurations: Specialized knowledge in network configurations using services such as VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, NAT Gateways, Internet Gateways, Route 53, WAF, etc., is a must.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Experience in DevOps and CI/CD processes is required. Proficient with Bitbucket/GitHub for pipeline creation and familiar with ticketing systems like ServiceNow and Jira.
• Cost Analysis: Strong background in cost analysis and resource optimization is essential. Knowledgeable in using Trusted Advisor, Cost Explorer, and tagging for granular cost insights.
• AMI Upgrades and Maintenance: Experience with AMI upgrades, patch application, and maintenance window management is necessary.
• Monitoring and Logging: Skilled in monitoring AWS environments using tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and others.
• Documentation and Communication: Solid understanding of cloud architecture best practices and security guidelines is required. Experience in documenting SOPs, creating knowledge bases, and maintaining technical documentation is necessary. Demonstrated ability to work independently with clear communication skills. Collaborate effectively as a proactive and supportive team player.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and architectures, experience with AWS services, proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, certification in AWS or related technologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
