Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cloud-native infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

About the Role:

This is a pivotal role in our organization, requiring expertise in cloud architecture, DevOps, and AKS. You will play a critical part in defining end-to-end architecture for AKS-based workloads in Azure, designing multi-environment, multi-region AKS architectures for high availability and disaster recovery, and establishing best practices for container orchestration, scaling, and governance in AKS.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecture & Strategy: Define end-to-end architecture for AKS-based workloads in Azure.
  • Azure & AKS Expertise: Architect and provision AKS clusters with features like cluster and node pool autoscaling, private cluster configuration, network isolation using Azure CNI/Kubenet, managed identities, and Azure AD integration.
  • DevOps & Automation: Design Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for AKS provisioning.
  • Security & Compliance: Architect RBAC and Azure AD security models for AKS access.
  • Monitoring, Logging, & Observability: Architect observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus, Container Insights, and Grafana.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 10+ years in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or related roles.
  • 5+ years hands-on Azure experience, with deep AKS expertise.
  • Strong technical expertise in Kubernetes architecture & troubleshooting, Azure networking, IaC tools, and container security and governance.

Preferred Qualifications:

You should possess strong communication and presentation skills, ability to lead design workshops and architecture reviews, and strategic problem-solving skills with hands-on implementation skills.
