Sales Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced Sales Team Leader to join our world-class team in India. As a seasoned sales professional, you will lead a team of high-caliber inside sales professionals focused on new logo business (hunters). Your responsibilities will include setting expectations, providing clarity, and KPIs for the Inside Sales team to achieve.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, coach, and drive a team of inside sales professionals.
  • Work closely with Nutanix Field Sales to design a "Divide & Conquer" new logo sales account approach.
  • Meet and exceed bookings targets for the identified market segment.
  • Motivate, coach, and manage inside sales professionals to build pipeline and close revenue through Nutanix Channel & OEM Partners.
  • Join customer calls with the inside sales team to coach and assist in closing bookings.

Required Competencies/Skills:

  • 5+ years sales experience and 3+ years management experience.
  • Experience in enterprise sales required, Storage/Networking/Virtualization/Cloud or Infrastructure industries strongly preferred.
  • Proven consistent achievement of goals through the leadership and motivation of an inside sales team.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and retaining talent.
  • Exceptional command of enterprise sales methodologies and the ability to coach to it.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Travel 1 to 2 times a quarter required.
