Project Manager - Dairy Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in dairy operations to drive the success of our new dairy processing center.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant setup, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day management of milk procurement, processing, and distribution.

The successful applicant will work closely with technical teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of all systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance in setting up the new dairy processing center – from plant design to commissioning.
  • Define and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for milk procurement, chilling, pasteurization, homogenization, packaging, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee equipment selection, installation, and process optimization in coordination with technical teams and vendors.
  • Set up supply chain and distribution processes for efficient milk and dairy product delivery.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices in dairy plant operations.
  • Provide expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration for procurement, processing, sales, and finance modules.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor plant efficiency, yield, and quality.
  • Advise management on new product development and diversification opportunities.
  • Act as a bridge between management, technical consultants, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Dairy Processing, Operations, or Plant Management.
  • Proven track record of establishing or managing dairy processing plants (medium to large scale).
  • Strong knowledge of milk procurement systems, processing technologies, quality control, and dairy product lines.
