System Reliability Role

Ensure continuous system availability by designing and implementing scalable global systems.

  • Develop and maintain robust system architecture, deploying and scaling applications to meet business needs.
  • Lead incident response efforts, analyzing system failures and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Implement automation processes for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance to enhance platform stability.
  • Oversee production environments, including applications, middleware, infrastructure, and databases like Postgres, MongoDB, and MySQL.
  • Collaborate with teams to define technical requirements and best practices for reliability engineering.
Responsibilities and Skills

Drive architectural design and implementation for containerized, cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Monitor system health using tools like Prometheus, ELK, AppDynamics, and Nagios; ensure proactive scaling and performance tuning.
  • Manage middleware environments (Weblogic, Tomcat, JBoss) and distributed systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis).
  • Participate in planning sessions, architecture/code reviews, and mentor team members on SRE practices and tooling.
