Senior Engineer Role

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing pipelines, solutions, and key processes for SRE Operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, math, or engineering disciplines, with 8+ years of experience in architecting and developing reliability-based solutions, automation, tooling, and/or pipelines in a scripting language (Powershell preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting pipelines, solutions, and key processes for SRE Operations
  • Driving key company initiatives using data, technology, and skill
  • Participate in executive-level conversations and sessions
  • Continuously develop team skills and technological proficiency
  • Effectively drive cross-team/department projects to completion
  • Develops and maintains knowledge management articles

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, math, or engineering disciplines or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years experience architecting and developing reliability based solutions, automation, tooling, and/or pipelines in a scripting language (Powershell preferred)
  • 6+ years of experience with the following technologies Windows Server Administration, PowerShell, IIS, Amazon Web Services / Azure / GCP
  • 3+ years experience developing solutions for containerized solutions such as Kubernetes, AWS ECS, or similar
  • 3+ years experience developing with the following technologies; Database (SQL/Postgres Preferred), Networking, IaC tooling (Terraform preferred), Linux, .NET core, Configuration Management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Excellent mentorship and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • High level of analytical and critical thinking skills
