Senior Developer Job Description

A senior developer will design, develop, and implement solutions to connect disparate software systems, enabling them to share data and functionality.

This role involves working with APIs, middleware, and other integration technologies to create a cohesive and efficient IT ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end cloud application integration processes and working experience in Informatica Cloud MDM.

Responsibilities include developing custom APIs, performing data mapping and transformation, monitoring and debugging integration flows, implementing tests and performance tuning to ensure data consistency and reliability.

  • Maintain thorough documentation of architecture, workflows, and troubleshoot logs; keep integrations updated and optimized.
  • Work with business analysts, IT, project managers, data architects to understand requirements, plan migrations, and support end-users.
  • Evaluate and analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new systems, devise procedures, prepare flowcharting, perform coding, test/debug programs, and develop conversion and system implementation plans.
  • Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation, recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards, and train user personnel in conversion and implementation of systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have overall experience in IT of 7+ years and 25+ years with Informatica SaaS MDM. Key skills include:

  • Hands-on experience in end-to-end cloud application integration processes.
  • Working experience in Informatica Cloud MDM.
  • Ability to maintain thorough documentation of architecture, workflows, and troubleshoot logs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
