Job Title: Integration Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Integration Specialist to join our team. As an Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing secure, scalable, and maintainable integration services.

  • Gather functional requirements from stakeholders.
  • Understand technical requirements and design integration solutions using industry-standard tools.
  • Develop and implement integration solutions to meet specified requirements.
  • Prepare data for unit testing, create unit test cases, conduct unit testing, and address bugs.
  • Assist in system and user acceptance testing, as well as go-live activities.
  • Create comprehensive project documentation.
  • Develop reusable components and services.
  • Provide support to senior team members as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 10 years of total IT experience with a focus on integration methodologies.
  • Proficiency in integration tools like IBM Integration Bus v10, IBM App Connect, IBM MQ, and IBM API Connect v10.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with effective presentation abilities, fostering collaboration within team environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with Jira and other Atlassian tools for agile lifecycle management, as well as quality assurance and documentation practices within software development.
  • Experience in developing and supporting Java applications, Web Services Soap/Rest using Spring, Spring Boot, and GitLab.
  • Practice standard development processes leveraging agile methodologies like SCRUM and Test-Driven Development.
  • Extensive design and development experience with MQ, SFTP, JMS, and HTTP Protocols.
  • Experience deploying and running integrations on Cloud environments, particularly AWS.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and sprint/scrum processes.
  • Proficiency in UNIX and Windows scripting.
