Senior Data Integration Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Integration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and deploying ETL solutions using Oracle Data Integrator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing ODI mappings, packages, procedures, load plans, and scenarios. They will also be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting data integration workflows, resolving performance bottlenecks, and conducting root cause analysis for failed jobs.

In addition, the Senior Data Integration Specialist will work closely with Data Architects, DBAs, and Business Analysts to develop effective integration solutions. They will document technical specifications, data flows, and deployment plans, and manage version control and deployment of ODI objects across environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage ODI mappings, packages, procedures, load plans, and scenarios
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data integration workflows and resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Conduct root cause analysis for failed jobs and implement preventive measures
  • Collaborate with Data Architects, DBAs, and Business Analysts for effective integration solutions
  • Document technical specifications, data flows, and deployment plans
  • Manage version control and deployment of ODI objects across environments
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c/11g
  • Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Database, and data modeling concepts
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL best practices, and data quality checks
  • Familiarity with Oracle BI (OBIEE), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and OBIEE/OAC is an added advantage
  • Understanding of performance tuning, job scheduling, and error handling in ODI
  • Comfortable working with control tables, variables, sequences, and user functions
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git and deployment tools like Jenkins is a plus
  • Knowledge of data security, compliance, and data governance principles
